Big girl.....

Vandaag een page van onze hond Truus gemaakt en geprobeerd het in de stijl van Dina Wakley te doen, nou, dat viel nog even niet mee en ik moet nog heel wat oefenen ;), maar...... ik ben er blij mee.

Today I made a page from our dog Truus and and tried to make it in Dina Wakley's style, well, let me tell you, that wasn't as easy as I thought and I need a lot more practice, but...... I'm pleased with my page, ;).

Personality.....

Het Dyan Reavely journal ligt hier al een poosje in huis, maar kwam er niet toe om er in te werken.

Afgelopen dinsdag samen met mijn vriendin Edith  een spread in ons journal gemaakt.

Zij moet hem nog afmaken, ik heb dat vanmorgen gedaan met dit als resultaat.

I already have the Dyan Reavely journal for some time, but not worked in it untill last Tuesday, when my friend Edith came over here for crafting.

We made a spread in our journals, she hasn't finished it yet, I finished it this morning and here's the result of my spread.

Voor de achtergrond spray inkt en Dyan stempels gebruikt.

Een "dame" uit eentijdschrift geknipt en aangekleed met Dyan stempels.

Ook de tekst 

“you would think that with all your multiple personalities, at least one would be likeable”

is van Dyan.

Just for fun.....

 De achtergrond van deze pagina is eigenlijk een "wipe off" pagina, hier maak ik mijn kwast, creditcard en stencils op schoon.

Ik heb hem wat bijgewerkt met verf, daarna licht met gesso eroverheen en met verschillende kleuren rondjes gezet.

De rondjes weer omlijnd met witte en zwarte gelpen.

This page is actually a "wipe off"page, I added some more colors of paint, after that a thin layer of gesso and put some circles on it with different colors.

To finish it, I made used a white and black gel pen around the circles.

Artfull alphabet, B

De 2e pagina voor mijn arthfull alfabet album, de B van Birds.

Voor de achtergrond gesso/acrylverf gebruikt, de plaatjes geprint en wat stempels gezet.

De tekst Bird is met stempels gezet, de overige tekst zijn de chitchat's van Tim Holtz.

The second page for my arthfull alphabet album is the B from Birds.

I used gesso and acryl paint for the background, printed the images, used some stamps and the text Bird are placed with stamps, the other text are chitchat words from Tim Holtz.

Weer een Art Journal page gemaakt, voor de achtergrond Dylusions ink gebruikt en ook de stempels zijn van Dyan.

ABC journal

Bij de Art Journal groep loopt een uitdaging voor een ABC journal.

Dit is mijn A.

Voor de achtergrond Alcohol inkt in de kleur Aqua gebruikt, ook nog wat stempels met adirondack inkt aqua, maar die vallen helaas weg door de scan.

De rondjes zijn stempels van Tim Holtz, de tekststempel van onbekend merk.

ART tekst met Dyan Reavely stempels en de rest van de tekst zelf geschreven.

At the Art Journal group we have a challenge to make an ABC journal.

This is my A.

I used the color Aqua with Alcohol ink, places some other background stamps with aqua adirondack ink, but unfortunately the scan doesn't show them.

The rounds are a stamp from Tim Holtz, text stamp, don't know and the letters ART are placed with Dyan Reavely stamps.

The other text I wrote my self.

Art Journal swap

Voor de swap met Marjolein heb ik deze 2 pages gemaakt voor de maand februari.

De onderwerpen waren één voor Valentijn en één vrije keus.

For my Art Journaling page swap with Marjolein I made these pages for February.

Themes for this month were Valentine and open theme.

 

De achtergronden zijn weer gemaakt met Dylusions spray ink (heerlijk spul), bij de Valentijn page heb ik ook een dylusions stencil gebruikt voor de rand en plaatje van internet.

Voor de vrije keus page heb ik met een sponsje wat rondjes gezet, omcirkeld met gel pen en ook hier een plaatje van internet.

Background again with Dylusions spray ink (I love this ink), for my Valentine page I also used a Dylusions stencil at the edge, image from internet.

For the open theme page I used a round spongue and gel pen for making the circles and also an image from internet.

 

En deze beauty's kreeg ik van Marjolein.

Valentine card

Ieder jaar maak ik maar één Valentijns kaart voor een heel speciaal iemand.

Each year, I only make one Valentine's card for someone very dear to me.

Voor de achtergrond weer Dylusions spray inkt gebruikt, vind het super om daar mee te werken.

De stempel van het hart is van Artemio en de tekst is van Art Specially.

connected skinny

We hebben weer een nieuwe swap bij de Stempeldiva's, voor deze maand is het een connected skinny maken met een kleurschema.

Finished my Art journal swap album.....

Voor de binnenkant heb ik ook een zwarte pagina met stencils bewerkt, deze op chipboard geplakt, in 3en gesneden en in het album geplakt.

For the inside, I also took a black page, stencils ank paint, sticked it on chipboard and cut it in 3.

Then placed the 3 pieces in the inside of the album.

Ik heb kaartzakjes gebruikt om de journal pages in te doen.

Deze aan de bovenkant afgesneden, een strook sheet en aan de linker binnenkant geplakt.

Daarna gaatjes in de zakjes en de rug van het album gemaakt, lintje erdoor en het geheel vastgemaakt.

De eerste 2 pages zijn binnen, nog 22 te gaan, lol.

I used plastic card bags for the pages.

Cut them in the right size, placed a strip of sheet inside the bags on the left side.

Made holes in the back of the album and in the bags and bind them with ribbon.

The first 2 pages arrived, another 22 to go, lol.

Album cover

Voor een Art journal swap met Marjolein, heb ik een album cover gemaakt.

De binnenkant afgewerkt met zwart karton, moet alleen nog even kijken hoe ik de pages in ga binden.

Inside I sticked black cardstock and I just don't now yet how I will bind the pages.

Helaas laat de scan niet de juiste kleuren zien.

En zo is hij na het vouwen tot een album.

Deze kleuren zijn ook de "echte" kleuren.

Art Journal page and 2 cards

Gisteren de achtergrondjes gemaakt van zowel de page als de kaarten en vandaag afgewerkt.

Bij alle 3 heb ik voor de achtergrond met een spatel gesso aangebracht, daar over met Dylusions spray ink kleuren aangebracht.

Bij de page heb ik met stencils en verf nog wat details gemaakt.

Daarna de bloem (stampendous) gestempeld, geëmbossed en ingekleurd met dylusions spray ink.

De tekst gestempeld opeen apart kaartje, uitgeknipt en opgeplakt.

Om beide met zwarte faber castell krijt een lijn gezet en uitgeveegd.

Om de rand met witte faber castell een lijn gemaakt en ook uitgeveegd. 

This is the result of the page.

Yesterday I made the backgrounds from the page as well as from the cards and today I finished them.

For all 3 I used a spatula and gesso for the background and sprayed Dylusions ink over it.

For the page I also used some stencils and ink to make some details.

Stamped the flower (stampendous) and embossed it, after that I colored it, also with dylusions spray ink.

I stamped the text on a seprate piece of paper, cut it out and pasted on the page.

Used black faber castell crayon to make a line around the flower and text and wiped it out with my finger.

For the edges I took faber castell whith crayon to draw a line and also wiped it out.

This is the result of the page.

Om de kaarten af te maken heb ik alleen stempels gebruikt, swirls langs de randen, de bloemtak, vlinders en wat teksten.

To finish the cards, I only used some stamps, swirls for the edges, a flower, some butterflies and a few text stamps.

Birthday card

Verjaardagskaart, gemaakt voor mijn vriendin.

De achtergrond stempel is van Studio 490, de jurken van de Craftorij en de spetters zijn een stencil van Crafters Workshop.

De knopen zijn van hobbyfoam, warm gemaakt en daar een knoop ingedrukt en uitgeknipt.

In 2 hoeken nog wat stiksels gemaakt.

Made this birthday card for my friend.

The background stamp is from Studio 490, the dresses from de Craftorij and the splashes are from a template from Crafters Workshop.

The buttons are made from craftfoam, heated it and pressed a real button in it. 

After that a cut them out.

Also made some stitches in the edges.

Ben aan het oefenen met templates, lol, met verf wordt het één grote kliederzooi, dus maar de distress inkt gepakt met dit als resultaat.

Practicing with templates, when I use paint, it's rather messy, so I took my distress ink and this is the result.
